Pool heating · Coffs Coast
Pool heating that is sized for your pool, not the brochure.
Heating is the easiest thing to get wrong and the most expensive to get wrong twice. Matt assesses the pool, your usage and the plant room, then plans heating that holds temperature without punishing running costs.
$0 callout fee for the assessment. Parts, chemicals and completed work are quoted separately.
Common signs
When it is worth a look.
- The pool never quite reaches the temperature you set
- Heating running constantly through cooler months
- Error codes, short cycling or a unit that will not start
- An ageing heater you are deciding whether to replace
- A new pool or renovation that needs heating planned
What Matt checks
The whole system, not one part.
- Pool surface area, volume, exposure and shading
- Existing heater condition, capacity and error history
- Heat pump versus gas against how you use the pool
- Plant room space, electrical supply and gas availability
- Cover and circulation strategy to cut running cost
Repair or replace
The cheapest heating decision is the one made before purchase.
Matt plans heating for domestic and commercial pools, including new builds and renovations, and coordinates installation and commissioning so the system works as a whole. Units, installation and completed work are quoted separately.

Questions we get asked.
- Heat pump or gas heating for a Coffs Coast pool?
- Heat pumps suit our climate for extending the season economically. Gas suits pools that need heat fast and occasionally. The right answer depends on how you actually use the pool.
- What size heater does my pool need?
- It depends on surface area, how exposed the pool is, whether it has a cover and the temperature you want to hold. Undersized heating is the most common mistake we see.
- Does a pool cover make much difference?
- A large one. Most heat is lost from the surface overnight, so a cover can cut running costs dramatically and lets you install a smaller heater.
